All That Glitters Is Not Gold

Pros

- Lol, none. I can't think of any.

Cons

An absolute nightmare of a company to work at due to immaturity by founders. What bothered me most was the culture. It felt like people who spent their time being loud and visible on Slack were rewarded more than people who were actually doing solid, professional work. If you were good at playing the internal politics game, you did well. If you were focused on doing your job properly, it often went unnoticed. Leadership also lacked direction. When you asked what was expected of you, there were no clear goals or standards. The only real message was to work more, longer hours, and somehow do better than the founder himself. That kind of thinking created a lot of pressure but very little clarity. The company follows a 996-style culture where long days and weekends are treated as normal, but there is no real reward for putting in that effort. There is no clear path for growth, promotions, or even recognition. You are just expected to keep pushing without knowing what it leads to. The leadership team felt very immature and reactive. Decisions were often made on the fly, with little thought about the long term impact on people or teams. It was hard to feel secure or see a future there. Vyro is not a place for someone who wants structure, professionalism, and a real career path. I would recommend anyone thinking about joining to speak to current or former employees before making a decision.
