      Pros

      decent severance package, when they lay you off because of your age, older people are treated as worthless after certain age, they go and let you go with he excuse that your position has been eliminated with a lame excuse!

      Cons

      They should appreciate older people, because you are older doesn't mean you can't do your job, besides they are forgetting that some day they will also get to, if lucky enough, to be over 50! It was like walking on egg shells every day that I worked there.

      Pros

      Good company to work for, and pleasant work environment. Needed a job with good benefits, and this company has excellent healthcare and other benefits. After each year vacation/sick time increases generously.

      Cons

      Current position does not have much potential to advance. While the benefits and vacation time are very good, because this is an hourly job, pay raises have been very slight.
