pay and bonus are respectable, especially if you can be at a non CA site, as some of the pay bubble that is CA salaries reflects outward.
Cons
more political than most companies. Key business, HDD, is receding, causing them to have excess talent, so layoffs of even highly talented people. Power and control are more strongly consolidating to Southern CA, and it's a blatant power grab
