      Pros

      Great Development Engineering Talent in Fujisawa Japan. Excellent Technology and Quality of products.

      Cons

      Poor Management in San Jose. High Performers NOT recognized in this Company. Lower Level Managers are actually "Soldiers" just carrying out orders and not making decisions like true Managers should.

      Pros

      Free to do what you want for the most part. Not too many micro-managers. People are great to work with.

      Cons

      Nothing beyond work, so don't expect a social aspect. A few people started there own thing, like golfing, but nothing supported by WD.

      Pros

      Now known as the largest storage company in the world. Unlimited PTO benefits is great.

      Cons

      Health benefits are all high deductible. No other choices for PPO, EPO plans. I feel unprotected and financially insecure sometimes. They are a bit old school and non-progressive when it comes to understanding silicon valley cultural norms and supporting dual career tracks.
