Good products and good people to work with. Strongly collaborative environment with a can-do attitude. Strong technology base for extending disk drive product line, and good positioning for expansion of flash.

Cons

Demand for disk drives has been stagnant and may shrink in the next few years, particularly as solid-state memory becomes price competitive. This suggests that a corresponding long-term reduction in head count can be expected, beyond the impact of the recent merger with HGST.
