Pros

Good database system and organized operations. Reasonable working hours except deprivation of your weekends.

Cons

Too much politics and interpersonal relationship conflicts. You must take a side to stick to it or any company's turnarounds or reorganizations will put you in jeopardy. You could be sacrificed. They don't count on your technical abilities but only your political side.

Pros

Irvine location. Integration of HGST and SanDisk would made WD a big player in the storage market

Cons

- Way too many layoffs ins the last 2 years. At least 4 layoffs in the last 2 years when I was there. - Company was in a massive integration efforts (of 3 companies) so the overall employee morale were low. - Not a lot of new technologies development
