Your observations about organizational changes help us understand how these transitions impact team members. Pros

Benefits Direct management was great. Hybrid work schedule was nice.

Cons

At this point, the layoffs are expected—constant reorgs, no job security, and inconsistent pay raises that didn’t always reflect true performance.

Pros

Role is fully remote (so that you do a lot of overtime and on-call hours) and starting salary was okay for someone right out of college (but you will never earn much more)

Cons

Check the stock price over the last five years. The C suite approach is "Move fast and break things. If it goes well, we'll get a nice bonus. When it doesn't, we'll layoff a few hundred employees and still get a nice bonus" They have no clue what they're doing. Constantly jumping over to the next big thing, it brings no growth and then they layoff hundreds of people as a result. They're now DESPERATELY pushing AI as if that'll solve their problems. When it doesn't, be ready to lose your job. I've been here a few years and I think this is the third or fourth layoff cycle I've seen. The C suite pretend to care every time they do it but then they make more poor decisions on the future of the company and do it all over again. Why would they care when you're the one who will have to face the consequence of their poor decision making? Separately form that: - Overtime is an expectation. You're expected to be on-call basically every weekend in case something goes wrong - Pay rises are capped at about 3% (regardless of what inflation is lol) - Outdated tech stack, you won't get to improve your skills here - They change performance metrics so you don't get a good bonus because we're now moving over to a new system - Super fake mega-corp vibe (We have all these programs for our employees (but don't use ANY of them or else)) - They offer salary bands for roles but don't actually do anything if you're below the minimum for your role
