Pros
As a software engineer, I've worked with companies large and small over the years. When Wex acquired our company, I braced for the worst. However, I have found them to be the best-managed company, top to bottom, of any I have ever worked for. Wex is not perfect, but the management will listen to their employees, and they truly try to make decisions that make sense. Wex embraced full-time remote work for software engineers well before COVID hit. And we continue to hire full-time remote engineers.
Cons
Working as a full-time remote employee has its advantages, to be sure; the downside is not having regular face-to-face time with teammates.
