Pros

I'm amazed by how healthy and empowering the culture is at WEconnect. I have never felt more supported at a company. I have enough autonomy to learn and grow, attempting and failing is encouraged, I have enough guidance and support to try new ideas and the whole team is willing to work hard while having time to talk about life and connect on life outside of work too. WEconnect is also trying to address substance misuse in a massive way, which is a huge undertaking and an incredibly high need. Make a difference at your job with great team mates and opportunity for professional growth, it's a win, win, win.

Cons

We are addressing an incredibly challenging problem and it is as hard to work with as it is rewarding.

Pros

Great peer support and supervision, consistent support for remote workers, highest pay for peers I have ever seen, medical benefits are INCREDIBLE and lots of transparency at all levels. Encouraged to be a leader and shine. So happy to be here.

Cons

A remote position is not for everyone, but that is not a company-specific con. WEconnect supports their remote workers wonderfully.

WEconnect struggled for a while, but finally figured it out

Pros

WEconnect hasn't always made the right business decisions, but they've been willing to try new things, learn, and adapt. It's because of this that the company was able to find a product/market fit (after failed attempts), get the right people on the team (after having the wrong people leaving), and steer into an ostensibly bright looking future. Compared to two years ago, the company has had a complete metamorphosis and is full of top-tier talent across teams. Most of the people on the team genuinely care about the mission of helping folks with substance use disorders and focus on what the science says to inform how we approach solutions to this chronic condition.

Cons

The wrong decisions earlier on weren't great for morale and slowed down what could otherwise have been growth.
