Thank you for posting your thoughts on WGI. We value our clients and the relationships built during five decades of business. We also appreciate the trust our clients put in the WGI team, may times based solely on the great relationships forged as we strive to deliver a great work product. Great work and great people are indeed our best marketing tool. In regard to safety, you are spot on. One of our top goals is making decisions that send our people home safely to their families at the end of every day. Throughput the entire WGI team, our culture relies on everyone accepting our focus on safety. Hopefully, this helps everyone understand why our safety council is vital to our firm and why you see regular participation from our senior leadership team.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience at WGI. All comments are welcome and we%E2%80%99re hopeful that the responses are useful as well. In regards to PLA, you are correct in that WGI does not offer sick time; however, we amended our %E2%80%9Cvacation%E2%80%9D policy to include sick days. Over a decade ago, in response to feedback from our associates and trends within many professions, WGI collapsed sick time and vacation time into a single Personal Leave Allowance (PLA) policy. This PLA policy allows more flexibility and provides the ability for time away from the office without having to differentiate between being sick and being on vacation. When the PLA policy was put in place, WGI added the %E2%80%9Csick%E2%80%9D days to the %E2%80%9Cvacation%E2%80%9D days and arrived at the total number of PLA days. So we do indeed have %E2%80%9Csick%E2%80%9D days, it%E2%80%99s just that we don%E2%80%99t ask whether you%E2%80%99re out sick or away on vacation. How the total PLA days are used, is up to each associate. They could all be used for sick time, or they could all be used for vacation time. Further, up to 80 hours of used PLA time can be carried into the next fiscal year. This flexibility actually allows each of us more %E2%80%9Csick%E2%80%9D or %E2%80%9Cvacation%E2%80%9D days each year depending on personal needs, or to preserve the hours for future use.
