Tons of overtime Really good hourly employees and shift supervisors

Cons

More overtime then most employees can handle. Guys burn out after a few years and move on. This leaves the staff constantly short handed. Pay is relatively low for the area and the level of commitment required. Moving up past utility operator is difficult as the upper tear positions rarely open.

Cons

Pay should be higher for operators. A skilled operator is as valuable as a CDL driver but drivers make much more on average.
