Decent compensation Good people (for the most part) Interesting process (waste to energy) Challenging work environment (both good and bad)

Expect to be pigeon-holed, career development non-existent Typical 'grass is greener' mentality on current employees vs. outside recruits (does not appreciate expertise of existing workforce) The decision-making apparatus is very top-heavy Ethically questionable nepotism (being generous with the use of 'questionable' here. When you look at the management team, there is a blatant outlier in terms of expertise and knowledge) Large round of layoffs occurred in October, would expect another Non-progressive, conservative workforce.
