NOT remote work

Pros

Some benefits are good (i.e. health/education tickets, laptops) Some teams have good devs that are fun to work with and learn from.

Cons

Average salary. Remote work ended - company is enforcing hybrid model (at minimum 2x month) Company's culture is lacking - no diversity and absolutely no respect or concern for employees well-being. They say they have benefits to Management mentality is mostly controlling and with lots of pressure - most of the times stores are planned with insanely low SP's and devs are pressured to accept them even if they know it's not possible to deliver on-time. Everyone is expected to deliver the same amount and quality of work, no matter their seniority and context or lack of context in the project - SP's are directly correlated with hours of work and everyone is expected to deliver the same amount of SP's in a sprint No systems are in place to help people develop, learn and grow. You are treated as a number only there to deliver work and if you want to learn something you use your free time since there's no room for that in the projects.

Pros

Devs work hard. Projects are interesting. Perks are good

Cons

Everything else. On the onboarding you only get meetings with HR, management and a couple of devs. They don't think its worth to spend 15 minutes of the team you are going to be working with to introduce people around. Feedback isn't welcome on sprint retrospectives/refinements if it goes against what management wants. Expect stories to be estimated with as low SP as possible, to appease the customer. Processes don't get improved. Management is the worse thing I've ever seen. At the end of every Sprint they will congratulate you, with always the same copy paste message in the lines of "thanks for the effort, amazing team" yada yada yada yada. You would think there is thrust in the team if they say this, but no, even when the team delivers 110%, if in the next week an outside block appears you will get managers breathing down your neck. Pressure culture is definitely a thing here. Old mentality. Management thinks this company is in the textile business. While other companies are focusing on mental wellbeing and finding time for the workers to get to know each other, cool off, laugh a bit, ease of work... No such thing in WIT. You are here to work, period. Dont come to WIT if you care about your happiness or well being.

Pros

It's a dynamic, young spirited and highly qualified company. WIT works not only for the world but also for its employees! It's growying every day, but still has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Everything here is about keeping employees and costumers happy. Coperation, quality and professionalism are the key words.

Cons

As confortable as it feels in the offices, we still have to work hard to keep up the company's growth! The goods news is that if you work well, you also have the opportunity to develop and grow professionally.
