Pros

Working for THE AGENCY! The experience and opportunity that working for WME affords. Great way to transition to other areas of the business.

Cons

Hours are long and pay is low, because they know that the industry is cutthroat. There is someone else out there that will do your job for less. Some assistants get treated poorly.

Pros

You learn a ton, you meet amazing people who can become lifelong friends, and you make amazing connections in the entertainment industry.

Cons

Long hours, low pay, high stress environment. Very little opportunity for a raise or promotion. Very cutthroat.

Great work environment undergoing transition

Pros

Caveat these pro's apply to pre-merger WME/IMG: The benefits are the best you will find and they are fighting to keep it that way. The compensation is fair with a bonus structure based on tenure not merit (exception would be agent bonuses which is based on revenue).

Cons

Pre-Merger: Demanding work schedule (in effect when you get an e-mail you have 15 minutes to respond before DefCon 1 is reached and the time could be 24 hours a day 7 days a week) Post-Merger: Same as above with additions......new leadership has decided to seek advice from outside consultants and rely none at all on the competence of existing employees; decisions are made in a vacuum, benefits and compensation are not being carried over to new employees
