Good pay Decent work balance Fantastic learning opportunities Some really good people

Cons

Saving money is the main aim from poor design, rushed deadlines. If it’s not making revenue forget about it and you’ll sink or swim Way to many middle managers it becomes a eco chamber, very siloed eng teams that breeds a very unhealthy “ill look out for myself and my team only” foundation Promoting staff based on tenure rather then knowledge

Pros

- Everyone here is amazing and great to work with - The work is interesting and provides a good challenge - I receive great support as a remote employee

Cons

- Management tends to chase and promote random goals/initiatives instead of the goals/initiatives that would make the biggest impact - The engineering org suffers from not having enough engineers so projects become abandoned because teams are asked to own and work on many systems at once - A lot of time is spent keeping the lights on instead of making features/improvements (management sees the engineers as mechanics instead of inventors)
