Pros

Amazing benefits and they really trust and respect their employees. It was a place they felt like family. They pay is really fair too

Cons

Honestly there weren't any except commute time and that was not in there control. Sometimes people got a little gossipy but that didn't ever go really far.

Pros

Great work environment that includes managers, team members, employee benefits, vacation time, etc. They invest in a lot for their employees, even providing extensive new hire trainings and reimburse for all travel expenses. A lot of opportunities for advancement and internal transitions if you look out for them. If you want a career in the banking industry then this can be a good starting place for you.

Cons

Customer service which is self explanatory. The new hire training is a bit too long and spaced out. For the locations with a high turnover this can be a loss for the company. Also worth to mention they've been losing a lot of their employees to companies like Amazon due to the nature of the industry (more growth and better pay).

Pros

Leadership team is approachable and engaged. Engaged employees with passion for what they do. Unparalleled benefits package. Leadership has a clear understanding of what needs to be done to stay relevant.

Cons

Personnel and culture challenges to change the legacy CU mindset and processes to a technology focused organization. Growing pains will occur to make this move over the next few years but is critical to meet the current Fintech disruptions.

Thanks so much for leaving a review! We think you hit the nail on the head. We’re proud of our leadership, staff and the unique environment here at WSECU. We agree that growing pains are an inevitable part of the culture-shift to a tech focused organization, but how exciting to be on the ground level of this momentous change!
