Pros
Offered opportunity to lead and complete various projects with significant autonomy. Senior manager that I worked with is great is the mid level leads that needs to brush up their management skills.
Cons
Career opportunities given but was managed poorly by new leads. The new leads instead of promoting the good work an employee has put in, it has asked the employee to a pay cut if the employee wants to continue with the career opportunities which he/she has been in for the last couple of years.
