Great People, Low pay

Pros

Well regarded around the broadcast industry. Almost everyone you work with at 7 wants to see you advance and do well. A great launch for young people.

Cons

The low pay and limited hours for writers makes it impossible to live on. A complimentary job is basically required for writers to work here.

Pros

Wonderful play to get started in the News Industry. There are growth potential and teamwork and morals are at it's highest for Producers, Directors, Anchors, Engineers, Reporters because they work making the big bucks and benifits.

Cons

Favoritism, glass ceiling and the pay sucks. Started out from entry-level at $6.40 an hrs in 2000 and left making $11 an hrs in 2007. Worked full time no more than 38 hrs and no sick day or Insurance coverage..
