      They will use your industry knowledge and then cut you lose for someone cheaper at the first opportunity.

      Pros

      It's a large company with a lot of resources so you can get things done if you work at it. You can work anywhere in the world in a number of different roles.

      Cons

      You are treated like an asset, so like a computer, you can be replaced at any time. Quite a few people leave, but not many retire.
