Pros

Some of the most amazing colleagues I ever worked with are here. This company has top talent and the culture (for the most part) is positive. The Chicago office had happy hour every month. The training for the Business Analyst role is good with lots of lab opportunities to practice before getting assigned a client. Very flexible culture in terms of working from home.

Cons

As a Business Analyst at Towers Watson, if you are assigned to a client with a lousy, incompetent project manager, you are doomed! Some of the project managers at this company are the biggest pains in the butt. They act like they are your "people manager", and they aren't. In addition, being assigned to those "high maintenance" clients...it will eat your life away, and it's not worth it! But, one has very little say who he/she gets assigned to...it all has to do with business needs.

Pros

Location in Portland was beautiful. New office space with new furnishings. Close to Waterfront and nice downtown restaurants. Benefits were ok - not a pro or a con in my opinion, just ok. Some teams had a flexible work schedule; Working with great clients was amazing!

Cons

Bad Management; Office Politics; Lots of backstabbing and aggressive personalities; Lack of Career Path; Work/Life Balance Non-Existent; Unbalanced Workloads (Producers vs. Service Staff); Management Not Always "Doing the Right Thing; 401k Match Low; Lack of Managing Partner for many months; Lack of Leadership
