Pros

The company seems to really care about it employees (at least at my location). We work hard but they always are willing to listen to your problems and work with your schedule. Lots of opportunities to advance especially if you’re willing to move

Cons

Seems a lot of adnavcement opportunities are only available if you want to move. Communication from corporate can be lacking which can be stressful

Pros

-Company is inclusive and most people are friendly and willing to help. - Very casual work environment -Free snacks and lots of swag. - Decent pay - Great culture and product

Cons

Extremely poor management causes an otherwise great job to be almost unbearable. In my brief time at Wyld, I experienced an extreme level of micromanagement from the new accounting manager that made it near impossible to perform my job to the best of my abilities. Hours are long for the department and you are expected to work until the job is finished. Fine, but management often made tasks so complicated that they took double the time they needed to. Also, when deadlines aren’t met, of course it’s your fault. Management can be hostile, to the point of using threats to try and get results. I did try to have a conversation with the manager about the issues I was having and was told several times that they treated me that way because they didn’t trust me. I have never experienced this level of micromanagement and distrust before and found it too much for me personally. The right personality type might find it easier to accept the treatment and thrive, but it just wasn’t for me. I have over 7 years of experience in the field and instead of being treated like a professional, I was treated like a child. Work from home expectations were not fulfilled by the company. When I started and throughout the interview process it was implied I would get 3 days wfh like the rest of the team. Ended up being only 2, which was upsetting because I turned down other positions that offered more money, but wanted me in office more days a week. Make sure your expectations are very clear before starting a position in the department.
