      good flexibility since you don't have direct reports. There is high growth potential when you move around in other positions.

      Cons

      very heavy on redundant meetings and reports. It is also a union shop and can be a hostile work environment. Upper management is focused on deadlines and budgets but don't put effort in team building exercises.
