      Pros

      Kaizen and working completely backwards has REALLY boosted productivity. NOT.

      Cons

      They don't have any respect for the people that do the work... They think that everyone's just trained monkeys. Management doesn't have a clue. It felt like kaizen was just a reason to run the company downhill. They don't realize that the customers hate Wabtec and call it a Monopoly. They are getting rid of tenured, close-to-retirement employees in exchange for low wage, inexperienced workers.

      Pros

      There are a lot of good people working at the Duncan facility. Benefits are commensurate with other industries.

      Cons

      Company is transitioning to French control. Tendency towards overpowering hirearcial relationships. Company is understaffed, overburdened. Firefighting is a normal mode of operation.
