Mgmt outside of IT doesn't value IT, mgmt in IT doesn't provide great direction, still has a small company mentality even though it's a large corporation which creates conflict, very siloed

Some manager not having knowledge about parts and working areas. And I faced recently Musilim -Muslim culture this is one of the wrost thing about WABTEC locomotive Pvt Ltd Marhaura (Bihar). And some Muslim manager only support Muslim only. If you have knowledge but I don't promote whichever buttress those people are promoted . It is said that there is a lot of difference in the behavior of shop floor employees and management level employees and with Shop Floor employees behaves like the lower class laborers.
