Pros

Steady and laid back. Values employee safety and family values Great products to work on, nothing feels great than getting a locomotive on its wheels and roll for the first time!

Cons

Technology hardly changes, it's modified some but takes years to change. Work is inflexible and new ideas are not as easily absorbed or accepted.

Pros

You get to travel across country and sights that most people will only dream of seeing. The job it's self is a great job.

Cons

Extremely low pay. The hours worked vs the house paid. Work 12 hours and only get paid for 8 hours. At the end of two weeks of work my pay was less then minimum wage when calculated pay for the time actualy worked. Office politics runs the field operations

Cons

Equipment was in need of repair and there was little time to get repairs done.
