Air conditioned office environment unless field assignment.

Cons

Favoritism, Inexperience Management, Lack of Internal Structure and Integrity, Minimal Perks, Pay Raises less than Inflation Rate, Can be laid off any moment without prior notice but if you want to resign you have to give at least two weeks notice in order to get paid for accrued PTO

Kaizen and working completely backwards has REALLY boosted productivity. NOT.

Cons

They don't have any respect for the people that do the work... They think that everyone's just trained monkeys. Management doesn't have a clue. It felt like kaizen was just a reason to run the company downhill. They don't realize that the customers hate Wabtec and call it a Monopoly. They are getting rid of tenured, close-to-retirement employees in exchange for low wage, inexperienced workers.
