      Learned a lot of useful skills for future jobs; was a good stepping-stone.

      Sometimes didn't have enough responsibilities and it got a bit boring

      Pros

      Wabtec bought several companies so now we are in the big wabtec rail group now. Big name future chance expand in America market.

      Cons

      After we joined the group wabtec suggested to change the bonus plan. Wabtec aim to double the profit in 5 years but not clear how. After the bonus negotiation failed people start leaving but management team seems not worried.

      Pros

      Good people (Mostly the workers who have been there years) , varied work, the company continues to try and improve the working environment constantly.

      Cons

      Poor Holiday allowance, no sick pay for 5 years. very strict on Break times.Due to poor contract, many people hired are idiots, or just not qualified enough putting more pressure on the experienced staff. Also due to the change in contract, an apprentice who has just "graduated" can be paid significantly greater than even a new Supervisor.
