Pros

Paid well, company truck, great project managers, wachter covers insurance for employee, 401K match, wachter cares more about their employees safety than getting the job done. If it's not safe they don't have you do it. 100% call for the technician unsafe you are never forced to work.

Cons

The only con I could think of working for Wachter would be getting stuck in traffic jams traveling to job sites. That's the only negative thing I have to say about wachter. Other than that great place to work.

The best reason to work at Wachter is the culture and the people along with a company that provides room for growth and is part of new and upcoming technology deployments. The company has very structured processes and procedures but yet very challenging customers and projects. It also offers free health insurance to singles and only $25 per week for families. 401k contributions are matched up to 5%. Standard national holidays are paid

Cons

Very competitive environment. Some projects may require working after normal business hours.

-Not always compensated for work &/or mileage as initially agreed to Disconnect/miscommunication common between people in the office & the actual people on the road doing the work -Poor training- you pretty much have to figure everything out on your own. -Big difference in pay for men vs. women, even on same experience/skill level. Common for a lot of male dominated careers/trades.
