There Isn,t any. I wish there was something good to say but I felt so overworked at this place and treated so badly.

Toxic US Management; US needs to focus on safety and merit.

Pros

Willing to recognize A players and put them in places for potential success - provided it doesn't risk any of US leadership's golden children. Pay is relatively good.

Cons

The US organization's leadership is unbelievably toxic and does little else than create distractions. Local management should facilitate business - not inhibit it or distract from it. The inner politics at the US executive level are often-times all consuming and generate completely unnecessary noise, stress, and inter-department tensions. One of the side effects of this is that hand-picked favorites (without legitimate merit) get put in increasingly elevated positions. Historically there has been little focus on safety and ethics when it comes to US operations. This has been improving but the long history of this being lacking the US is a big deal. Those who know the history of the CHA site understand this well. HR function is a constant struggle. Does not support the actual personnel needs of the business. Side note - Glassdoor asks for a rating of the global CEO, Hartel. Hartel is a solid leader and is doing great in his somewhat new spot. The rating for the US org's CEO would not be similar but has not been solicited as part of this review.
