Too Much Hard Work for most Business Grads
Pros
The company is very stable no worry of layoffs or mass firings here. Very decent pay and good opportunity for advancement if you don't mind working hard and spending the time coaching people that rarely want to be coached. Work hours are great if you're a morning person.
Cons
Work schedule is terrible....six days on two days off they don't expect you to miss that 1 and a half days you miss being off every month. Pay can severely fluctuate with sales especially at the Unit Manager level. You work every Holiday even those you didn't even know were holidays you know like those random days you try to go to the bank and it's closed... yea you work those too Micro management of schedule is ridiculous and never goes away even at some of the higher levels in this career. Hours get extremely long around holidays 60 hour weeks are the norm Business has too many rules to govern employees (no getting a beer with a co worker if you don't have the exact same tittle) Upper management makes decisions on who to promote based on several qualities that have nothing to do with performance. If you're original training unit manager is terrible you are destined to fail Vacations are planned out with very little wiggle room dependent on the rotation that is set at the beginning of the physical year
