Pros

Good reasons to work here You CAN make good money Its Retro Customers are actually kinda cool (sometimes)

Cons

No Personal Life! - you have to pick between that date with that person you have wanted to money Third shift treated bad - I do third shift and we ALWAYS get the short end of the stick, we are always stuck with the cleaning/prep from other shifts. No matter how much we do in sales its got to be prefect by 7 AM You must work holidays - no matter that your granma is coming from Utah to see you, you have to work and its normally a LONG shift (If you are on third) Complaints to managers about the extra cleaning that is left on third is answered with "Well someone has to do it and you have ten hours" - Um excuse me? VERY wasteful when it comes to paper Servers wont swap sections and if you speak up to try to get that to happen they will try to run you off No Dishwasher we have to wash everything by hand even tho we dont use sanitizer we use actual dish detergent that can't be sanitary The pull drop mark system is flawed it slows things down makes things harder to call (in the old days we would say for instance "Order over medium plate and a bacon" now its "Pull one bacon drop on hashbrown" ad which point the cook calls for our mark and we call the order) I also find it unsanitary. To much favoritism for day shift

Pros

I enjoyed working with my team of employees. A lot of camaraderie. The company offers excellent training for its managers and invests a lot of money.

Cons

Misery. No personal life. Rarely have weekends off. The worst part is that success is not always rewarded with promotion. The company keeps nonperforming managers in place and at the low to mid level management level, the lousy performers have just as good an opportunity for promotion because it is based on seniority, not performance. Pay for hourly workers hasn't changed in 20 years almost, which means it's very very difficult to keep a qualified staff.
