Pros

My coworkers were great and I had great pay. Waffle House is a super supportive community were they (at least the people I worked with and worked under) want to see you succeed.

Cons

The work-life balance is awful. 85% of your day will be spent cooking, not managing. Your primary responsibility as a Unit Manager at Waffle House is not to manage the restaurant but to be the primary morning shift grill operator. Not uncommon to work 11-12 hour days. You are expected to be on call 24 hours. I would not recommend this job unless you have a passion for cooking.
