Pros

Pay is just enough to keep you going to work The vacation policy is good You will 100% get this job if you have a college degree and a pulse.

Cons

Training is lauded as superb, when in reality it comes down to the individual that the upline assigns to train you. Nearing the end of my training when testing for servsafe certification the division manager who was proctoring the exam literally handed me a cell phone and said "use this in case you have to do any "math"". Depending on whos area you wind up working in is the primary deterministic factor in your personal success. Not to mention that what they pay the hourly associates is dog crap, and every day feels like you are one angry customer away from a full blown mutiny! I dreaded waking up every day that I worked for this company. Between the managers it was literally a willie measuring contest to see who could kill themselves or empty their checking account the quickest. Between literally paying associates personal cash from our bank accounts and paying for their Ubers, the once "good salary" quickly disappears. And you would say that I was dumb to do these things; however, the expectation to pay an associate's transport and for favors existed long before I arrived and was reinforced by upline. Furthermore, they do very little in terms of activities to keep associates including management happy. I had worked for a long time in food service and there indeed are companies that do keep associates happy, such as Sheetz, INC. Sheetz is an amazing company to work for. I will close with this: You will lose your hair, your money, and your life The pay is atrocious and peoples' attitude and behaviors reflect this fact at almost every level of employment. Lastly, you may think to yourself, well I do not care that holidays are mandatory. Think again. Consider the fact that for as long as you stay with this company... YOU WILL NEVER CELEBRATE A CHRISTMAS WITH YOUR FAMILY AGAIN!!!
