Pros

Such a great bunch of colleagues. The team makes the work really enjoyable. All managers are lovely, including our branch manager, as long as you work hard and pull your weight. Delivery driving is a lot of fun, and you have a lot of training to feel confident on the road. The shifts usually keep you pretty busy, so I really like that about the job. Overall, really enjoyable, and the customers are lovely. You can always ask to develop your skills in store or in management roles, so they always make time for you to learn if you're willing. Obviously, great discount on food too!

Cons

Traffic is inevitable, so usually the only downside to delivery driving are the external factors that you can't control. My biggest fear is a van breaking down and being stuck somewhere for a while. If you don't like lifting, keeping active, or go to the gym, then you may not enjoy the driving job as much.
