Pros

Pros • Good pay – The pay was definitely better than a lot of other supermarket jobs, which made the work feel more worthwhile. • Nice team environment – Most of the people I worked with were really friendly and supportive. It made shifts more enjoyable. • Good staff benefits – The partner discount for Waitrose and John Lewis was a nice perk, and there were some decent staff offers too.

Cons

Cons • Management could be hit or miss – Some managers were great, but others could be quite inconsistent or hard to communicate with. • Workload could get heavy – At busy times, especially weekends or around holidays, it could feel like there weren’t enough staff for the amount of work.
