Pros

Working with customers and tending to their needs on a one-to-one basis. Over 100 employees to interact with and become acquainted with in my London branch. The ability to assist and move to other branches and work for them, finding out how their modus operandi. Flexible hours and the ability to work many hours in a day.

Cons

Physically draining work, making recovery a large factor of my life upon working so hard there. There wasn't enough break time during long shifts.

Pros

Waitrose provide a very friendly and welcoming environment. They clearly respect and appreciate their staff ("partners") and are very rewarding to work for. Brilliant sense of inclusion and willingness to work hard seen by all.

Cons

Can be quite stressful, particularly towards the end of a shift. Working with customers means it can be quite unpredictable and challenging at times.
