Pros

The work is simple and the company has a decent ethos that rubs off onto the staff making it a pleasant place to work.

Cons

The new 'direction' of the business might not be for everyone. There's a huge amount of responsibility being taken away from managers and placed in the hands of the staff. Even part-timers.

Pros

Local. Brand new building. Some amazing shop floor Partners (employees). The potential at Leyland is amazing, but sadly ruined by truly awful lower & middle management.

Cons

Probably the worst management I've worked for in a long career. You name the 'ism' & I'll tell you I've witnessed them all from management....ageism, sexism, closeted racism. Not a very nice environment to work in. Managers encouraging Partners to cut corners & wave health and safety rules to get higher picking or replenishment rates. They don't 'manage' at Leyland, they bully & intimidate. Avoid at all costs
