Pros

Good benefits. Paid off on national holidays. Provides mileage reimbursement. ECU classes provided at times. Most people are supportive of each other except one supervisor I know of.

Cons

Some supervisors like to micromanage which starts getting very annoying. Hours may or may not be flexing depending upon supervisor you have. Some are flexible and some are unfortunately not.

Pros

Wake County Human Services offers great benefits and flexibility with hours. They also offer a lot of training.

Cons

With my specific position the hours are unpredictable. The client population we work with is also just about one of the hardest to work with. The salary amount is also not very high even for those with many years of experience and education.
