amazing PTO (25 wks), good benefits, good reputation in the community/well respected and good on the resume. depending on the job you do, it can be rewarding/something you'ver very passionate about.

Cons

poor management - usually faculty members who have been given grants and not neccessarily any management skills; compensation is far below private sector; working with difficult faculty members. Little room for growth.
