Pros

Those without a degree have an opportunity to gain management experience. New position is now open to any current employee with a performance review high enough to qualify. New postion will know what store they work at and will always stay in same location unless they ask to be transfer and it is approved.

Cons

Current Management Trainee positions being eliminated. Many currently holding those possessions are being forced to step down into a newly formed position and accept a considerable hourly decrease. Newly created position pays much less than previous MGT position. New typically starts at around $11.00 per hour and tops out at $14.50 per hour.

Store managers who with the company so long that they don't care anymore. They are their just to collect a paycheck. Employees at store level are very unhappy to be there. They are there because they need a paycheck.
