Pros

The store became a sort of family, and even after I left I still enjoyed visiting and catching up with my former colleagues.

Cons

Some corporate failings in regards to managers, who were often mistreated by their superiors and occasionally passed this maltreatment on to select employees. Store managers receive the short end of the straw, at least from my point of view (below manager).

Pros

this is your typical retail management job, not a lot of bells an whistles and you know what is expected of you. Pretty good benefits as far as vacation time and sick time.

Cons

Health insurance gets worse every year, instead of promoting from within the company likes to hire outside from other failing companies. They have cut payroll and staff to barebones making it almost impossible to do any more than just spin the wheels of the machine. Stock has been low and dropping for a long time.
