Pros

it's an easy job, just checking out customers and helping them find something. good job for kids still in high school.

Cons

it can get boring if not busy. Customers will sometimes treat you like garbage. if you work in the cosmetics depo., you have to clean both men and womens bathrooms. It can get really gross.

Pros

Working at Walgreens as a first job out from college has been quite an experience and great eyeopener. You learn a lot about pharmacy, business, and the community around you, especially your customers.

Cons

Walgreens as a company is very financially oriented in a way in which money is always on their mind. Which is good in some aspects, however I feel that patient centered pharmacies will be better for the future.
