Everything depends on location, but working at their stores is brutal
Pros
- you get a lot of experience talking to people if that’s something you struggle with, whether in a conversational way or with customers who are angry - not much expectations because the bar is so low - for the most part your schedule is flexible unless your store doesn’t have enough people (which is frequently the case) then you’ll be stretched very thin
Cons
- corporate frequently leaves you out to dry, whether it’s bad communication, lack of supplies, or being forced to rely on outdated systems - as you can guess, working at a filling station frequently puts you face to face with extremely rude people on a pretty regular basis, though corporate problems as said above also usually lead to being blamed for things out of your control - pay is abysmal
