Pros

I only worked at Walmart for one summer, so it was not long-term, but I was pleased with my co-workers and the way I was treated by management.

Cons

It's Wal-Mart. The customers didn't expect very much from me because of the store's reputation, so I felt like I wasn't doing as much as I could.

Pros

Very flexible for students in high school or college. The Connection Center allows the associate to gain knowledge about multiple cell phone providers which can open up opportunities for a career in telecommunications.

Cons

Poor management decisions along with staffing issues and slow traffic likely mean you will be pulled away from your department to do someone else's job.
