Pros

Competitive pay, Day goes by fast, A lot of opportunity to advance, easy interview, good hours, Open 24 hours so lots of shift flexibility

Cons

The only bad thing I really have to say is sometimes good work goes unnoticed. Oh and lack of professionalism. Customer services pretty much nonexistent .

Pros

I am very lucky to have worked for this company. Both stores I have worked at have been very close knit. There are always challenges so it is definitely never boring. Job security is a plus. Wal-Mart is not going anywhere.

Cons

The pay is no longer as competitive as it once was in the retail sector. The new CEO and home office seems to be working to turn that around but we will see. If your a manager the days are very long and highly stressful but if you want a cushy job then retail isn't for you.
