Pros

Great place to work. Good money and easy work week. They pay you for your work ethic and how hard you want to work. There is no bad you can say about the job unless you brought it on yourself.

Cons

It's a corporate business but that's expected. Any complaining about this job is self inflicted wounds. To soft on attendance and punctuality policies. Hurts those who work everyday.

Pros

Competitive pay. It is easy to find a new job with 2000+ available at any time. Becoming more technologically advanced too with new automation.

Cons

It's so big that it has a huge target on its back to get sued. Some things happen the way they do because they are the most legally defensible.

Pros

Wal-Mart as a company is a solid growing company. The founders values (three basic beliefs) of the company are tools to live and work by. The company does provide services and products that allow Americans to live better financially.

Cons

Negative media PR. Diversity goal imbalances, geared more towards senior management meeting there compliance goals over the "best quailfied individual" for the position. "Cookie cutter" mentality, always thinking that what works best in one part of the buiness works well for all. Large size, can be a negative, people become hard to see... can't see fruit bearing trees because of the massive forest"
