Pros

E-commerce and catalog team. A bit earlier but no option to specify. The team was really solid. We got there through an acquisition and I was pleasantly surprised be the level of tech and the amount of challenges. Goo to have resources of walmart behind the work. A lot better than startup life!

Cons

A lot of legacy to deal with. Stores catalog was not suitable for using directly on the web. These days LLM can do wanders, I bet. But back then product descriptions were a challenge. Some teams rely heavily on consultants, which works for IT but doesn't work for real product development with real IP.
