Pros

Flexible work environment, allowed to wear jeans, able to participate in community service activities.

Cons

Management is stuck in 1980 and need to change. Few listen to new ideas and ways to do things. Corporate is run like a "good ole boy" organization by promoting people on relationships and who you know not what you know. Bases evaluations on perceptions that may be discriminatory and one sided.

Pros

Walmart has acquired a great number of talented people, and has a clear focus on where they want the business to go.

Cons

Walmart has acquired a great number of talented people, but is hindered by how fast they can go by the legacy overhead of being the largest company in the world. It can be really frustrating for people who like to get stuff done.
