Pros

Great place, Great Management, and Nice Co-workers; all in all, Walmart was a great place to work for, but the pay doesn't make sense compared to other retail stores. Other than that, it is an actually a good place to work if you are looking for a nice workplace. (Depending on your management team)

Cons

The pay is the great downfall of Walmart jobs. Like state before I loved my experience while working at Walmart, but the money was not keeping up with the demand and the resulted in me quitting. Everyone would tell you at my store i was an amazing worker and kept everyone on chill mode when i was area. Jumping into action when help is needed weather Customer or Co-workers, I was willing to help. Honestly, they probably would have never image I would quit and it was kind of sad to do so but change has to be made and if something is not change you have to make a change. As I said before absolutely loved that actual work though.

Pros

Managers have your back Coworkers are nice, the younger ones are easy to get along with People are generally helpful Can get away with badmouthing Walmart to the customers.

Cons

-Start off part time, no matter what, so no benefits. -Terrible pay, you get a WHOLE 2% annual increase per year -Standing all the time is bad for legs and back (get compression socks and good shoes) -Lack of PPTO generation for part-time. If you're sick, well SOL, you gotta work because you lack the PPTO. -Lack of sick days or leniency -Management is nice but almost never around when you really need them -Dumb customers / rude customers who think a walmart employee is below them -Automated scheduling can ruin your work life balance, expect nonsensical shifts, expect your sleep to be ruined, and dreaming of Walmart every day. -You're just a number.
