Pros

Contrary to popular belief, Walmart is a better employer than its competition. They do treat their employees with more respect that many other retailers. I enjoy working for Walmart; it can be a fun and interesting job depending on how you take your everyday experiences with the company.

Cons

Although Walmart is better with treating employees fairly than its competition, fairness and respect in a general retail envirnment is typically sub-par with the overall workforce.

Cons

Woman not having the same advancement opportunities as men. Myself applied for higher position. I had a great record., did overtime, came in whenever needed and highly qualified for position. However someone else that was there less time and buddies to one of managent recieved the position.
